Overview

The Similan Islands have some of Thailand's clearest water: a protected marine park off the Khao Lak coast that opens only half the year. White sand, granite boulders and reef fish, often in excellent visibility.

It's a long day with an early start, and worth every minute.

Itinerary

1. 06:00Hotel pickup

   Drive from Phuket to the Khao Lak pier, about 90 minutes.

2. 08:30Speedboat to the Similans

   Around 75 minutes offshore.

3. 10:00Snorkel stops

   Two reef sites with your guide.

   Included: Snorkel gear

4. 12:00Koh Miang lunch

   Lunch and beach time.

   Included: Lunch

5. 13:30Koh Similan

   Short climb to the viewpoint and swim at the beach.

6. 15:00Return

   Back at your hotel around 18:00.

Good to know

• The park is open from 15 October to around 15 May; this tour doesn't run outside those dates.
• Daily visitor numbers are capped, so book ahead in high season.
• Reef-safe sunscreen only.
• Fees in Thai baht are set by the parks and sites and can change without notice.

Cancel at least 24 hours before your start time for a full refund. Inside 24 hours we can't refund, because guides, vehicles and tickets are already committed. If we cancel for weather or safety, you choose a full refund or a new date.
