These terms apply when you use this website or book a trip with TrueJourneyInc ("we", "us"). By booking, you accept these terms on behalf of everyone travelling on your booking. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that apply to you.
1. What we sell
We sell day tours and multi-day travel packages in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. The services on your trip (hotels, drivers, guides, boats, flights and entry tickets) are provided by independent local suppliers that we select and book for you.
2. Prices and what is included
- Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are per person unless the trip page says otherwise. Package prices are based on two people sharing a room.
- The price includes only what is listed under "What's included" on the trip page. Anything listed under "What's not included" (for example international flights, visas, travel insurance, some meals, drinks and tips) is extra.
- Applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
- If we make an obvious pricing mistake, we will contact you before confirming and you can cancel for a full refund.
3. Booking and payment
- You pay the full price at checkout. Your booking is confirmed when we email you a confirmation with your trip details.
- Please give us each traveller's name as shown on their passport, your hotel details for pickups and your flight details for airport transfers.
- Hotels are confirmed after booking and may be replaced with a hotel of a similar standard.
4. Cancellations, changes and refunds
Our cancellation and refund policy explains the free-cancellation window for each type of trip and what happens if you or we cancel.
5. Changes during the trip
Weather, sea conditions, park or temple closures, traffic and local rules can change the order or timing of activities. Our guides may adjust the plan on the day for safety. If an included activity cannot go ahead, we offer a suitable alternative or refund that part of the trip.
6. Your responsibilities
- Passports and visas. You must have a passport valid for at least six months after your trip and any visa required. Vietnam and Cambodia require visas for many nationalities, including Canadians. Please check official government sources before you travel.
- Health and fitness. Check the "Activity level" and "Age" shown on each trip page and tell us about any medical condition, mobility need or dietary requirement before you book.
- Insurance. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical care and repatriation. Some trips require it.
- Conduct. Please follow the instructions of guides, crews and drivers, and local dress codes at temples and palaces. A supplier may refuse service to anyone who puts others at risk, without a refund.
7. Our responsibility
We take care in choosing our suppliers and in arranging your trip. We are responsible for delivering the services you booked as described. We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes, government action, illness or airline schedule changes, or by your own actions. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, it is limited to the price you paid for the affected trip.
8. Complaints
If something goes wrong during your trip, please tell your guide or contact us straight away so we can try to fix it. If you are still unhappy, email us within 30 days of the end of your trip and we will reply.
9. Using this website
The text and trip descriptions on this website belong to TrueJourneyInc. Photos are used under licence. You may not copy the content for commercial use without our permission. We try to keep the information accurate, but details such as opening times and entry fees can change.
10. Privacy
We use your personal information as described in our privacy policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
