Two of Thailand's most photographed markets in one early morning. At Maeklong, vendors pull back their awnings seconds before a train rolls through the stalls. At Damnoen Saduak, you glide between boats selling fruit, noodles and coconut pancakes.

We time the drive for the morning train so you're standing in the right spot when it arrives, then head to the canals before the midday rush.
