Itinerary

Day 1Arrive Phong Nha

Private pickup from Dong Hoi airport and drive to Phong Nha (about 1 hour). Evening in the village.

Boat up the Son River into Phong Nha Cave, then Paradise Cave's boardwalks in the afternoon.

Good to know

Central Vietnam's rainy and typhoon season is roughly September to December; Hoi An's old town can flood in October and November. We adjust the plan on the day if needed.
Some caves close during floods (often October to November).
Paradise Cave has many steps up to the entrance.
Adventure caving (Hang En, Tu Lan) can be added; ask for a quote.
Prices are per person in Canadian dollars. Vietnam uses the dong (VND); cards work in most hotels, but bring some cash for markets and tips.
