Overview

A full week on Cambodia's classic route, at an easy pace. Two nights in Phnom Penh, a drive north past the pre-Angkor temples of Sambor Prei Kuk, then four nights in Siem Reap to see Angkor properly, including the jungle temple of Beng Mealea and the Tonle Sap lake.

Silk Island, a cooking class and a traditional show fill the gaps.

Good to know

Angkor Pass is included. You buy it with your guide at the official ticket office, which takes your photo, so bring your passport.
Beng Mealea is about 1.5 hours from Siem Reap.
Can be reversed to start in Siem Reap.
Hotels can be upgraded to 5-star; ask for a quote.
Prices are per person in Canadian dollars. Cambodia widely uses US dollars locally, so bring some small USD notes for tips and drinks.
