Good to know

Central Vietnam's rainy and typhoon season is roughly September to December; Hoi An's old town can flood in October and November. We adjust the plan on the day if needed.
Phu Quoc's sea is calmest from about November to April.
Direct Da Nang to Phu Quoc flights don't run every day; some dates connect through Ho Chi Minh City.
Prices are per person in Canadian dollars. Vietnam uses the dong (VND); cards work in most hotels, but bring some cash for markets and tips.
