Day 1Arrive Siem Reap

Sunrise at Angkor Wat, then the Bayon, Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm. Afternoon free.

Drive to Battambang (about 3 hours). Afternoon tuk-tuk ride through the villages to the bamboo train, then Phnom Sampov at dusk for the bat cave.

Good to know

Angkor Pass is included. You buy it with your guide at the official ticket office, which takes your photo, so bring your passport.
Phnom Sampov also holds the Killing Caves, a Khmer Rouge memorial; your guide will explain before you go.
Battambang province borders Thailand. This route stays in the town and nearby villages, well away from the border area.
Prices are per person in Canadian dollars. Cambodia widely uses US dollars locally, so bring some small USD notes for tips and drinks.
