Good to know

The calmest, clearest sea is from about November to April. From May to October the west coast is rougher and boat trips can be cancelled.
Private speedboat or yacht charters can be added; ask for a quote.
Prices are per person in Canadian dollars. Vietnam uses the dong (VND); cards work in most hotels, but bring some cash for markets and tips.
